Policy - Karoli Yoga School Teacher Training / Retreat Policies By enrolling in any Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) or Retreat Program at Karoli Yoga School, participants agree to comply with all the policies outlined below as well as those stated in the confirmation letter and registration form. Your participation indicates your complete acceptance of these policies. Refund & Payment Policy All registration and course fees are non-refundable under any circumstance. However, students may reschedule their participation to a future course date within 12 months from the original booking month, by informing us via email. Course fees are inclusive of applicable GST and/or payment gateway charges. Card payments via POS machine will incur an additional 4–5% processing charge. PayPal payments will incur approximately 6% extra processing fee. Course Cancellation Policy There is no cancellation fee. However, course fees remain non-refundable. Students must notify the school via email if they wish to cancel or defer their participation. Deferred students may join any future course date within 12 months from the booking month. The school reserves the right to cancel or shift any scheduled course or retreat if necessary. All dues must be cleared before course completion. Failing to do so may result in non-issuance of certification, termination from stay, or legal action. Terms & Conditions No smoking, alcohol, or drugs are permitted during the course. Friends or relatives are not allowed to stay with the students unless pre-approved by management. Full course fee must be paid prior to course commencement. Maintain a professional teacher-student relationship. Any misconduct will be dealt with legally and strictly. Attendance is mandatory. Students must attend the full curriculum and maintain at least 50% score in the final exam to receive certification. Two reattempts are allowed within 3 months. Only vegetarian food is served. Non-veg, eggs, and outside food are not allowed during the course. Students may dine outside only on weekly off-days. Any extra meal will be charged at ₹150 per meal. Student progress depends on their dedication and varies by individual effort. Use of mobile phones, cameras, or recording equipment during class is strictly prohibited unless permission is granted. If injured or facing any health issue, report directly to management. Do not involve outsiders or unassigned teachers. If students go out without informing, the school is not responsible. The school reserves the right to cancel registration for discipline breaches. We are a professional school—not a holiday retreat. Students are expected to adjust mindfully to the environment. Students are responsible for their own belongings. Hands-on adjustments are part of the course. Please notify on day one if you wish to opt out. 100% attendance is required unless medically exempted. Students may reschedule their course for valid emergencies within 12 months. Pickup from Dehradun Airport (DED) is included for international students in twin or private rooms only. Focus is on education and transformation, not luxury. Excursions are part of the course but subject to change or cancellation at the school’s discretion. We may capture photos/videos for promotional use. If you wish to opt out, please inform us on arrival. Respect teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times. All course and retreat fees paid are non-refundable.
